Mitja Lluna is a fabulous, detached holiday villa located in the pine-covered hills of Mas Mestre. A beautiful, funky design with a stunning garden feature wall, this tranquil retreat boasts a quiet countryside setting bordering the Garraf Natural Park, yet it's just a 12-minute drive from the highly popular and bustling resort of Sitges with its bars, cafes, boutiques, restaurants and fantastic sandy beaches, and only 40 minutes from the world famous and cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. 

Villa Mitja Lluna is a very spacious holiday home built on two levels and sleeping 8 guests. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it's an ideal for sharing with families or friends. It has an enormous wrap-around garden with a lovely pool and excellent outdoor space for relaxing, sunbathing, and a fantastic dining/bbq area for enjoying al-fresco dining.

The pool is set in an attractive Mediterranean garden with mature pine trees, lush tropical plants, lawned and terrace areas. There is plenty of space to play, eat, sunbathe, or simply relax. 

The villa is within easy reach of the small town of Sant Pere de Ribes and Vilafranca, capital of the Penedes wine region, the home of world famous Cava producers such as Freixenet and Codorníu. Other highly popular holiday attractions such as Port Aventura, Costa Caribe and Ferrari Land are all within an hour's drive.

ACCOMMODATION

This modern-design villa is bright and airy and is equipped to the standard expected of a high-quality holiday home. There are 2 double and 2 twin rooms (one on the ground floor is ideal for less mobile guests) comfortably sleeping 8 guests sharing two bathrooms.  

The ground floor has airy, light and spacious living areas with terracotta floor tilesand a large feature window overlooking the pool and garden.

Villa Mitja Lluna is distributed over 2 floors as follows:

Ground Floor

There are two entrances at street level via the garden gate, or a larger gate, to a paved pathway through the large lawned garden & pool area to the villa. There are four shallow steps to the front door.  Entering the hallway, there are stairs to the right leading up to the first floor bedrooms and family bathroom. The living room, kitchen, a twin room and a bathroom all lead off the hallway.

Left of the hallway is the large living room with high ceiling, feature brick wall, fireplace and TV. This room is comfortably furnished with two sofas, armchair, low level coffee table, designer lamps and has a floor to ceiling curved window offering stunning views and door access to the garden and pool. There is a small, internal window to the kitchen.

The modern kitchen is straight ahead from the hallway, large and bright with windows on two sides offering lovely views of the garden and hills beyond. Furnished with plenty of cupboard space and larder, it's fully-equipped with everything needed for a great family holiday, including fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee-maker, oven and hob. There is a dining table and chairs seating four guests, a charming traditional tiled wall, and door access to the garden.

To the right of the kitchen is the first of 4 bedrooms. This is a bright, twin bedroom simply furnished with white linens, bedside table and lamps, wardrobe with doors and a window to the garden and pool area. Opposite this bedroom is a blue tiled bathroom with shower, sink and WC. 

First Floor

Tiled stairs lead up from the hallway onto a landing with a twin room to the right (can also be made up as a double) with in-built wardrobe, bedside table and lamps, and a window on either side offering garden and pool views.

Next to this is a smaller twin/double with wardrobe and drawers, bedside table and lamp and window overlooking the garden.

Next to this is the master bedroom with 160cm double, bedside tables and lamps, a spacious walk-in wardrobe with sliding doors and window overlooking the garden and pool.

At the end of this hallway is a large, modern family bathroom with double vanity unit, bath with shower attachment and WC.

Bedrooms: (3 of the 4 bedrooms are twin / double beds with 90cm x 200 cm or as a double 180cm x 200cm)

Bedroom 1 -  Ground Floor – twin with wardrobe & drawers, window to garden.

Bedroom 2 – First Floor – twin / double with wardrobe, window to garden.

Bedroom 3 – First Floor - twin/double with wardrobe, window to garden.

Bedroom 4 – First Floor – double with walk-in wardrobe, window to garden.

Bathrooms:

Bathroom 1 – Ground Floor – shower, washbasin & WC.

Bathroom 2 – First Floor - family bathroom with bath, shower, WC & double washbasin.

GARDEN AND POOL AREA

Villa Mitja Lluna offers a wonderfully sunnay and spacious garden that wraps around the property with several mature pine trees for shade. There are large lawned areas and tiled terraces with tropical plants, bushes and lush planting, providing plenty of different areas to play games, relax in the sun during the day and enjoy al-fresco dining in the evenings, plus comfortable chillout seating areas for relaxation.

A large terrace leads out from the dining room and boasts a built-in BBQ adjacent to a covered pergola area with dining for 8 guests. To the side is a chillout-area with comfortable outdoor chairs, and coffee table providing a wonderful space for socialising and informal dining day or night.

There are 5 sunbeds available by the swimming pool, which has shallow steps leading in, so perfect for smaller children to come in and out. There is plenty to keep the children entertained with a small football goal and badminton. To the side of the pool are casual table & chairs for pool-side snacks. There are spacious lawned areas and tiled patios with a large garden swing seat.   

OTHER INFORMATION

- A car is essential for guests staying at Villa Mitja Lluna.

- The villa is suitable for guests with restricted mobility with street level paved access, ground floor bedroom and bathroom. There are 4 steps to the front door but there is ground level access at the rear from the garden.   

- There is parking access for 2-3 cars on the property. There is plenty of free street parking and no permits are required.

- There is a shady pergola for outdoor dining, further seating and tables, garden swing seat, sunbeds & plenty of outdoor space for relaxing, sunbathing, dining and games. 

- The pool is 8 x 4 metres with shallow steps leading in.

- A cot and high chair are available for infants.

- Fans and stand-alone A/C units are available.

- Pets are not allowed.
